Purpose and Acceptance
These General Rental Terms and Conditions (GRTC) govern the contractual relationship between SCI DP Méribel and its customers for the rental of seasonal accommodation via the séjour-meribel.fr website. All bookings imply full and complete acceptance of these GRTC by the tenant.

Reservation and Payment
Reservation: The reservation is confirmed after receipt of full payment and validation by email.
Payment:
Deposit: 100% of the total amount is required at the time of booking.
Payment methods: Credit card, bank transfer.
Deposit: A deposit of €2,500 will be debited (or blocked) 7 days before arrival. This amount will be refunded within 7 days after the exit inventory, subject to the absence of damage or additional costs. If the deposit cannot be debited (e.g., invalid card), the reservation may be canceled without refund.
Cancellation
Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival: 50% of the total amount of the stay will be retained.
Cancellation less than 30 days prior to arrival: The total amount of the stay is due.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival: From 4 p.m.
Departure: Before 10 a.m.
Late arrival: Any delay will be charged at €100/hour.
Rates and Additional Fees
Included: End-of-stay cleaning, tourist tax, linens.
Additional fees:
Extra cleaning: €100 if the accommodation is left dirty.
Lost keys: €100.
Tourist tax: Included in the price.
Tenant Obligations
Comply with the house rules (no smoking, no pets, no parties).
Maximum capacity: 5 people.
Inventory: Mandatory upon arrival and departure.
Reporting: Any damage or incident must be reported immediately.
Obligations of the Owner
Provide clean accommodation that matches the description.
Ensure a peaceful stay (except in cases of force majeure).
Insurance The tenant is responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation. Holiday insurance is recommended.
Force majeure:
In the event of unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control (bad weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government decisions), SCI DP Méribel may cancel. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
Disputes
Mediation: In accordance with Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the tenant has the option of free of charge recourse to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of any dispute between them and SCI DP Méribel. The mediator's contact details will be provided on request or are available on the official website https://www.economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso. Before any mediation, the tenant must send a written complaint to SCI DP Méribel by registered mail or by email to contact@sejour-meribel.fr. If no amicable solution can be found, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts in the jurisdiction of Chambéry. Jurisdiction: Courts of Chambéry.
Personal Data
Personal data collected during the booking process (name, email address, phone number, address) is used for:
Managing the booking (confirmation, billing, communication before/after the stay).
Improve our services (satisfaction surveys, suggestions for improvement).
Send commercial offers: With your consent, we keep your contact details to inform you of our availability, promotions, or special offers for the following seasons. You can object to this use at any time by contacting us at contact@sejour-meribel.fr

The GTC are governed by French law.

House Rules – L’Échappée Méribel
1. Check-in and Check-out Times
Check-in: From 4:00 PM (please notify us if you will be late).
Check-out: Before 10:00 AM (to allow for cleaning).
Late Check-out: Any delay beyond the check-out time may be charged at €100/hour.
2. Cleaning and Maintenance
End-of-stay cleaning: Included in the price. However, the tenant agrees to:
Leave the kitchen clean (dishes put away, trash taken out).
Do not leave any trash in the accommodation.
Trash: Take it out to the recycling bins located in the parking lots.
Linens: Sheets and towels are provided. Please do not take them with you.
3. Respect for the premises and neighborhood
Parties/noise disturbances: Prohibited. The apartment is located in a residential building, so please respect the peace and quiet of the neighbors.
Smoking: Prohibited inside.
Pets: Not allowed.
Ski boots: Must be removed at the entrance to protect the floors.
4. Use of Equipment
Ski locker: To be used for storing equipment and avoiding clutter in the apartment.
Equipment (raclette, fondue, dishwasher, etc.):
To be used with care. Any damage will be charged according to estimate.
Do not move or modify furniture/equipment.
Wi-Fi: Reasonable use of Wi-Fi must comply with French law (illegal downloading is prohibited). Code provided upon arrival.
5. Security
Keys: A set of keys will be provided upon arrival. Loss or failure to return keys: €100 fee.
Emergencies: In case of a problem (e.g., leak, breakdown), contact the concierge immediately.
Valuables: The owner declines all responsibility in case of theft or loss.
6. Parking
Parking: Free public parking spaces nearby. No private parking spaces are reserved.
Large vehicles (e.g., motorhomes): Must be parked in designated areas.
7. Waste sorting
Mandatory waste sorting:
Yellow bin: Packaging, plastics.
Green bin: Glass.
Brown bin: Organic waste.
The bins are located in the parking lots.
8. Respect for the Environment
Energy savings: Turn off lights and appliances when leaving the accommodation.
9. Penalties for Non-Compliance
Any breach of these rules may result in:
Immediate termination of the stay without refund.
Additional charges (e.g., exceptional cleaning, damage).
Failure to comply with the house rules may result in the total or partial forfeiture of the deposit.
